wow that's a great shot. What kind of lighting did you have? flashes? what wattage?

I've been doing a bit of studio work with two 600w and one 1,000w tangsten lights but I've been very dissapointed. I don't know if it's me, the camera, or the lights. In some cases the pics are blurry because the shutter speed is too low, but adding more light would just wash the picture out...

any advice on how to get cooly lighted pics like yours?
